From first grade through ninth grade—an education that develops the whole person

Lower school

Emphasis on language literacy, solid mathematical foundations, and skill development.

In mathematics, students learn to calculate, work with data, and solve logical problems. Gradually, they learn to use mathematics in practical situations.

In Czech, they develop reading skills and a relationship to reading. They learn to work with text, evaluate it critically, and create their own meaningful texts.

In English, we offer variable study programs: a variant without language clubs and a variant with afternoon language clubs. Children will achieve fluent communication, developed vocabulary, and correct pronunciation. In the variant with afternoon clubs, they will achieve advanced reading skills and master the subject World in English. Their level will be verified by the international Cambridge YLE certificate in the 4th grade.

Comprehensive development

At the same time, primary school pupils will gain an overview of the world around them through thematic teaching. They will also learn to work independently, solve problems proactively, follow rules and cooperate in a group, formulate their own opinions, communicate, and present their work.

Upper school

Advanced language and mathematical-logical literacy.

We emphasize the development of communication skills in both Czech and English. Students learn to express their thoughts clearly and grammatically correctly in both spoken and written form. In mathematics, we emphasize the development of logical thinking and the application of mathematical knowledge.

Contextual, meaningful teaching

Instead of traditional separate subjects, we combine certain fields into meaningful units – teaching blocks – such as Global World, Culture and Arts, and Natural Sciences. This teaches children to think in context and connect knowledge with understanding.

Choice based on interests and preparation for the future

From 6th grade, your child can choose elective subjects based on their interests: Work and Crafts, Business and Finance, Computer Science and AI, Outdoor Sports, Science, Fine Arts Studio or FCE exam preparation. They will try out different fields and possible directions for their future studies.

Elementary school graduate

We responsibly prepare 9th grade students for secondary school entrance exams – we train learning strategies, time management, self-management skills, and in an elective subject we practice standardized CERMAT tests.

The result? 100% of our graduates get into the secondary school of their choice.

At the end of 8th grade, students usually reach level B2 in English, take the Cambridge English international language exam, and receive an international language certificate.

Our graduates are confident, independent, and ready for further study and life. They know how to work in a team, communicate clearly, and defend their opinions. They can solve problems creatively, connect knowledge across disciplines, and understand the world around them. They are empathetic, care for their own wellbeing, and build quality relationships.

Outdoor learning

The school farm is a unique part of education at our school – a place where students move from theory to practice and learn with all their senses. They learn how life begins from seed to harvest, how to care for plants and domestic animals, how natural balance works, and the annual cycle of nature. They learn to think ecologically, to protect and care for nature and the environment. In addition, they develop manual dexterity and patience, acquire work habits, and gain respect for human labor.

Outdoor learning not only brings children the joy of discovery, but also improves concentration and promotes cooperation and healthy exercise. On the farm, students have the opportunity to learn outdoors in nature not only about science topics; anything can be learned outdoors—counting garden beds, measuring areas, recording observations, weighing crops, calculating yields, drawing, and writing stories.

What does this mean in practice?

Graduates will acquire the ability to think in terms of connections between different fields.

They will acquire the ability to apply their knowledge in real life.

They will have advanced communication skills, self-management skills, and critical thinking skills.

They will be prepared for further study and will know their strengths.
