Pre-school management

Martina Olivová, founder, managing director

I built a school where education makes sense – for children, teachers, and parents.

My story

  • In 2004, I had completed my university studies at the Faculty of Economics and spent ten years working in marketing and strategic consulting for international companies. I knew what skills people really needed at work – and at the same time, I saw how far behind traditional education was. When I was looking for a school for my own children, I couldn’t find one that would prepare them for real life. So, driven by a desire to create a place where children could learn with joy, respect, and meaning, I first founded the Magic Hill preschool and then, two years later, an elementary school. Along the way, I completed a number of courses in personal development, pedagogy, psychology, critical thinking, and leadership training. I am also involved in charitable projects and am a long-term partner of the Cystic Fibrosis Club and a member of the board of directors of the public benefit organization Právě teď! (Right Now!).

What I offer

  • I stand behind the vision of a school that develops not only knowledge but also character. I am building a team of people who share values such as respect, trust, and mutual cooperation.
  • I offer children a school that prepares them for life. I give teachers room for growth, stability, and a friendly environment. I give parents the assurance that their child is in a school that makes sense.

Alena Miklová, Director of Pre-school and Elementary School

I am the head of a school where children and teachers learn with joy, respect, and a vision for the future.

My story

  • For me, education is a way to change the world—through children, teachers, and school culture.
  • I studied primary school teaching at Palacký University and English at Akcent College. During my teaching career, I have taught at both primary and secondary levels, dedicated myself to extracurricular activities, and worked as a teacher trainer. I studied primary school teaching at Palacký University and English at Akcent College. During my teaching career, I have taught at both primary and secondary levels, devoted myself to special education, and completed a number of professional courses in critical thinking, Montessori pedagogy, and Hejny mathematics, which have helped me to better understand children and their needs. In 2023, I also completed a one-year course in mentoring for teachers at the Libchavy Academy and an MBA, which opened up new horizons for me in the field of leadership and strategic management. I joined Magic Hill in 2018, gradually becoming a senior teacher, deputy headmistress, and since 2024, I have been running the primary and nursery school as headmistress.

What I offer

  • I offer a school that combines quality education with a human approach. I lead a team of teachers to be true guides for children, I support balanced teaching that builds on important knowledge foundations and soft skills, and I constantly seek ways to improve and innovate.
  • I offer children a safe environment for growth and the opportunity to experience success, teachers inspiration and support in fulfilling a shared vision, and parents the assurance that their child is in good hands—in an environment where they become creative and confident individuals ready to learn throughout their lives.

Janka Čurillová

Children receive a warm welcome from me, and I strive to create an environment where they feel comfortable and are not afraid to make mistakes. I encourage them to believe in themselves, even if something does not work out right away.

My journey to Magic Hill

  • I studied business informatics at the University of Economics in Bratislava, but my heart led me to children – that’s why I decided to study preschool and extracurricular education at SPGŠ Futurum. I lived in the US for more than 5 years, where I worked as a nanny and volunteer at an elementary school in Ohio. There, I was involved in teaching and organizing school events. After returning, I worked in banking, but I soon realized that my place was among children, where my work had meaning and the results were visible. I have been working at Magic Hill since 2024, first as a teaching assistant and currently as a kindergarten teacher.

What children will find in me

  • I believe that children need above all a sense of security, acceptance, and trust. I work with patience, empathy, and openness. Children will learn from me that a mistake is not the end, but the beginning of new knowledge.

Michaela Gacusan

Children discover English naturally with me, through play, storytelling, conversation, and singing.

My journey to Magic Hill

  • I come from the Philippines, where I studied education at Tarlac State University. I have been teaching English since 2012, first in elementary schools and later as a head teacher at an international school. Between 2014 and 2018, I worked at a kindergarten in Jakarta, where I led a team of teachers. In 2018, I moved to the Czech Republic, where I continued teaching English at an elementary school, and since 2020, I have been part of the Magic Hill team. I have a TESOL certificate and have completed a number of specialized courses, such as “Speech and Drama for Young Learners” and “Basic Principles of Storytelling.”

What children will find with me

  • I offer children a kind, playful, and stimulating approach. I use stories, dramatization, and natural communication to help them learn the language intuitively. Thanks to my international experience, I bring cultural diversity, openness, and respect for each child’s individuality to my teaching. I am very creative and enjoy creating, experimenting, and discovering the world with children.

Šárka Gomaa

I offer children a warm welcome, peace, and support in their learning. I help them develop at their own pace and experience the joy of discovering things together.

My journey to Magic Hill

  • I graduated from a secondary school of economics in Zlín, but my life’s journey took me elsewhere – first as an au pair to the UK, where I realized how fulfilling working with children is. My real motivation then came from my two special children, who taught me patience, empathy, and how to find individual paths. I completed my studies to become a teaching assistant and gained experience in private kindergartens in Prague. In 2025, I became part of the Magic Hill team.

What children will find in me

  • I offer children a calm, empathetic, and respectful approach. I know how to listen, perceive their needs, and respond sensitively to their current mood. Thanks to my personal experience with various children’s specificities, I bring a deeper understanding to the team and the ability to create an environment where every child feels accepted.

Viktorie Chamradová

I offer children a warm welcome, understanding, and patient support.

My journey to Magic Hill

  • I graduated from a business academy and language school, but my path led me to work with children, partly because I have five siblings myself. I am currently studying social pedagogy at a higher vocational school specializing in social and legal studies. During my studies, I gained experience in social services, a retirement home, and as an assistant at an elementary school. I also worked as an au pair in the United Kingdom. I have been part of the Magic Hill team since 2022.

What children will find in me

  • I offer children empathy, openness, and sincerity, and I strive to build a truly warm relationship with each child. Thanks to my studies in social pedagogy and my experience in various environments, I am able to respond sensitively to children’s emotions, support their social skills, and create conditions in which they feel safe.

Klára Chamula Gajdová

I help children discover the world with their hearts and minds. I create an environment where every child feels accepted and motivated to explore and learn about the world around them.

My journey to Magic Hill

  • I graduated from a secondary school of education with a focus on modern languages and then studied Early Childhood Education at the University of Ostrava. After four years of working in a kindergarten, I went to the Netherlands, where I gained valuable experience in various approaches to education as an au pair. I have been working at Magic Hill since 2015, with a two-year break for maternity leave, during which I devoted myself to private English lessons for young children. I am constantly educating myself – I have completed a number of seminars focused on the development of preschool children, non-violent communication, and other pedagogical approaches.

What children will find with me

  • I offer children a sensitive pedagogical approach. I use many methods based on engaging all children through interesting topics and activities, as well as stories and music. At Magic Hill, I lead a flute club, which promotes not only musicality, but also concentration and fine motor skills. Thanks to my experience and knowledge, I am able to perceive the individuality of each child and adapt the teaching requirements to their needs.

Veronica Chishimba

I help children discover English in a natural way, as a language of play and creativity.

My journey to Magic Hill

  • I studied journalism at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia, but my passion became teaching English. I have a TEFL certificate and have been teaching children for more than ten years. I have been living in the Czech Republic since 2017 and have been working in kindergartens for the same amount of time, first at a Montessori kindergarten in Liberec and since 2025 at Magic Hill. In addition to my work at the kindergarten, I also taught afternoon lessons at a language school and organized summer scout and art camps for many years.

What children will find with me

  • I offer children playful, creative, and respectful English lessons that stimulate their curiosity. I use Montessori elements, stories, reading, movement, and art activities to make the language part of their everyday world.

Martina Kynclová

I create a calm and caring environment for children, where they can develop at their own pace. I help them discover the world with confidence and joy in every step of progress.

My journey to Magic Hill

  • I graduated from a technical high school and worked in commercial companies for several years. However, I was always attracted to working with young children, which is why I decided to work as an au pair in Germany, where I gained my first practical experience. I joined Magic Hill in 2019 as an assistant in the after-school club, where I completed a professional course for educators. Later, I transferred to the kindergarten and successfully completed my teaching qualification by studying preschool and extracurricular education.

What children will find in me

  • I offer children a patient approach. I help them build relationships within a group of other children, where everyone feels safe and can develop freely. I am familiar with the environment and demands of elementary school and know how to prepare children for them in a systematic and sensitive manner.
